A course aimed at teaching or improving bush navigation. The NZAC Basic Navigation course is designed for trampers and mountaineers who are looking to gain additional skills in order safely navigate through untracked alpine terrain. Designed for anyone looking to learn essential navigation techniques or brush up on their current skills this course will be great fun.
Learning basic navigation will help keep you safe when venturing into the outdoors. From planning your route on a map before you leave, to knowing how to find your way and back – are essential skills for any trip.

NZAC Member (non members are welcome to apply but must join the NZAC in order to be accepted onto the course - there are no exceptions)
Under 18 must have parental/guardian permission and must be at least 16 to attend.

A full refund will only be given for genuine reason if withdrawing from the course or if we have enough time to find a replacement for your spot.
